League of Angels Angels...
You start off with Nocturna, but will realize that you are being outclassed in every battle against someone who doesn't have Nocturna. You need an upgrade. So, what do you do? Well, first, when you get to a higher level, you can unlock Sylvia and Prospera for free. Choose any as you please and then start farming the Arena every day and save up the Arena Badges. There are now 2 paths. You can spend your Arena Badges now and get at most Lorelei, Glacia, Marina, or even Boadicea. This will allow you to get a better angel. Or you can keep saving up until you get 1,000 Badges, or 1,500 badges, depending on which angel you want. Then you can get Nyssa, or Aoede, the 2 best angels a non-paying player can get. Another way, which is way more rare, is to wait for an event. For example, the most popular is the Resource Tycoon, that almost always offers an angel as a reward for ranking on the Top 20. To do so, you have to either pay or save up a year's worth of things. If you want the best angel possible at the current time, you'd better start saving up all the Gemology power cards, Eternal Spire Challenge cards, gold, everything that you can get your hands on. And then wait for the next Tycoon. The last, and almost nonexistent way, is to wait for a whole year for a chance at a group of events that happened at the end of 2014 and the beginniing of 2015. There's this event called the Diamond Roulette that lets you spin 3 times at max each day for the duration of the event. What do you spin? Well, as the name infers, you spin to get diamonds. All the rewards are astronomical. When I participted during the event, I got maybe 3k diamonds, and some people reportedly got 80k diamond. This event links with another event called the Yearly Review, and it allows you to buy anything in game, for a discount. I bought Polly, for 2.4k diamonds. And this will help you alot. Just don't mis-click and instead of buying, say, Raphael, you get Lorelei's Icon....
Next stop, upgrading. Each day, you will have 10 free angel tears. In the hot events, you should aim for the "Use 80 angel Tears" task, as you will be rewarded with 30 angel tears, that you can use the next day. This essentially provides an infinite loop of Angel Tears. Think about it this way. Get 80 angel tears after struggling. Claim the "Use 30 angel tears" reward, and get 15 angel tears. Then claim the above mentioned 80 angel tears achievement. Now you have 30 angel tears if you used the 15 angel tears to reach the 80 angel tears Event. Wait until the next day and use 30 angel tears, and you get the 10 free ones, so you used 40. Now, claim the 15 angel tear Event. This allows you to have used 55. Yay! Only 25 angel tears to go before you can claim the 80 angel tear achievement. Blitz some dungeons, and if you're on the Clash of Might leaderboard, you will have the 80 angel tear achievement in no time.
Second to last stop, Evolving. You can try to fight an enemy that has the same Heroes and Main Character as you, the same angel as you, at the same level, and also the same equipment as you, but you could lose. How? Their angel could be evolved. At a higher level, angels need to dish out more damage and so you need to evolve your angel to a higher rank. For evolution of Angels, you need 2 things. Time, and Seraph's stones. Once you have, say, 200 Seraph's Stones, you go to the Hallowed Hall, click Evolve on the Angel that is deployed, and click either Evolve or 1-Click evolve. Then wait until the angel evolves. At higher levels, the angel gains Elemental damage that will devastate an enemy. For example, a Level 56 Polly with a high evolution has approximately 80,000 magic attack and 70,000 elemental damage. This is 150,000 damage. Enough to wipe out almost any character. Wow. But, without the boost, she does only half the damage. Pst...With high evolution, the Angel also looks better. :)
Anyways, now you are probably thinking about what angel you should use. Click the below button.
